Hi,
I've kept a few stories of crushes I've seen this summer, for the long wintermonths. Here is on of them.
It was a warm summerday and my wife was wearing a new dress and with that the hot black pumps she has for a long time, and often used for killing insects . You can see them in the photo. I made the photo on the day of those crushes. There's also a little bit of the dress visible: light purple and in the back it is a little longer than in front.
We have a livingroom with open kitchen next to it, both have a wooden floor. The table were we eat has also a small plastic-like carpet (black and white squares) where our children sit (for the obvious reason that they are really good in spilling their food ) She was cooking and I was playing with one f the kids on the floor when I suddenly noticed a fat earwig!! Great!! adrenaline racing through my body and I was so very aroused for what was 99% sure to come. I tipped the bug on the plastic carpet, hoping it would not only be stepped on, but also get nice twisting. Than I told my wife about the earwig. She turned around and immediately came she over with a few steps, but not in a hurry. I think she decided she had to step on it right at the moment I said "earwig" and "floor". She took a few seconds to get into a desired (by her ) position to crush it under her pump. Than she stepped casual on it with the ball of her right foot. She increased force a little more by raising her heel a little. When she stepped of the bug, there was only a wet stain on the floor. There was a piece of paper, but small, close by and she stepped on it and started to rock her foot left right to get the remains of. It did not work as the paper moved with her foot, because it was not big enough. Now she placed her foot back on the floor and made 3 firm twists (as I hoped for) and the result was that the allready completely squashed earwig came of the sole of her hot pump. It lay there on the floor as a wet stain with the corpse totally mangled and ripped in pieces, all crushed flat
This was so great that I would like to see more. After dinner I took the opportunity to look at the right places in our garden to catch another earwig and I got one. I put it on the same carpet in the kitchen, but it started to walk of to the wooden floor. But than it decided to stay just there on the edge. I pointed it out to my wife and she annoyed about another nasty invader came over in those lovely pumps and dress showing her great legs. First she tried to tap the bug and sweep it back on the plastic-like carpet. than she decided to be less carefull with this doomed pest and she swept it firmly with her right foot back on the carpet. it was not killed bu wounded and wriggled wild. With a quick step she killed it, immediately raising her foot. Than also quickly stepping on it again and with two twists she crushed it into another wet spot with a mangled earwig corpse in it
